Her dancing career accelerated from a very young age. She started her dancing career at the age of 12. In 2020, she also appeared in a Bollywood movie, Street dancer. Her appearance was for a supportive cameo role.

Vartika was born in 2000. Her birthplace is Renusagar of Sonbhadra district. Moreover, Her father’s name is Arvind Kumar. He is an operator in the Renusagar project of Hindalco. Also, her mother’s name is Kanta Jha. In the Dance Plus season 4, she also mentioned her father. She said that she loves her father the most. Also, her father has overcome many difficulties to fulfill her dreams. Furthermore, she has an elder sister in her family.

Vartika has always wanted to be a dancer since her childhood. She is very much interested in dancing. When she was six, she got the first position in the NTPC singles competition. 

Afterward, her family understood her dancing craze. Then, they started giving her training in dance along with her studies. 

At the age of 9, she auditioned for Boogie-woogie. However, she failed but continued her dance. In 2018, she came into the limelight. When she joined Dance Deewane, her popularity increased. Moreover, Madhuri Dixit stands as Vartika’s dance idol. Also, in Dance Deewane, she got a chance to dance in front of her. Afterward, Vartika also participated in Dance Plus 4. However, she succeeded in reaching the finale.
