Career Journey

Shirley began her career as a radio show host. She had the opportunity to meet numerous Bollywood celebs while working for a Hindi radio station. Shreya Ghoshal, a famous singer, inspired her to pursue a career in music. T-Series held a singing competition on YouTube in 2013. Her song “Tum Hi Ho,” which she performed in this competition, received positive feedback. She won the competition, but she also quickly rose to fame on YouTube.

Her recorded music videos gained a lot of attention. With the film A Gentleman, she made her Bollywood debut in 2017. In this film, she performed the song “Disco Disco.” She never looked back after that. She has performed songs in Hindi, English, and Punjabi.

Her father Raj Sethia shifted to New Zealand with her family. After which Shirley was raised in New Zealand. She has a younger brother Shane Sethia in the family. Setia belongs to a Hindu Khatri family.
