She Said is an upcoming 2022 American biographical drama film. The film is directed by Maria Schrader. The story is written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. She Said is based on the book of the same name by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey. The story is about the journalists from The New York Times who exposed Harvey Weinstein’s history of abuse and sexual misconduct against women. The film features Carey Mulligan, Zoe Kazan, Patricia Clarkson, Andre Braugher, Jennifer Ehle, and Samantha Morton in it. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 18 November 2022.

Storyline

The movie depicts the story of New York Times journalists Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor. They published a report that exposed sexual abuse allegations against powerful Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. This story serves as a launching pad for the #MeToo movement. The movement shatters decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault and harassment.
