Kakkar is famous for playing small and negative roles in films and serials. He made his acting debut in the year 2015. He played role of Police Inspector in TV show Naagin. After that, there was no looking back for him. He got many offers from serials to play small roles.

He has been seen playing cameo roles on shows like Kum Kum Bhagya, Shakti- Astitva ke Ehsaas ki, Kasam- Tere Pyaar Ki, Kundali Bhagya, Meri Ashiqui Tum se Hi and Meri Hanikarak Biwi.
