Padmakar Bapat, an Army Major, and Mrs. Bapat, a school principal, are his parents. His father died on January 17, 2020. Sheetal Bapat is his younger sister. On May 29, 2011, he married actress Riddhi Dogra but he couple does not have a kid. The pair divorced in 2019. He has been in a relationship with actress Shamita Shetty since September 2021. In 2021, he met Shamita on the set of Bigg Boss OTT.

Career of Raqesh Bapat

Raqesh Bapat started his Bollywood journey with the movie Tum Bin in 2001 which was a hit at the Box Office. He appeared in several movies like Heroine (2012), Gippi (2013), and several other films some of which turned out to be successful and thus, Raqesh gained a lot of popularity and praise for his work.

The actor also appeared in several Television Series such as Saat Phere (2005-2009), Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? (2010-2012), Nach Baliye 6, Qubool Hai (2016) etc. The actor got married to Riddhi Dogra in 2011 but they separated in 2019.
