Randeep Hooda is an equestrian, social worker, theatre artist, and actor who works in Indian cinema. He gained notoriety for his performance as ACP Agnel Wilso in the 2010 Hindi film “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.”
He was born on August 20, 1976, in Jassia village, Rohtak, Haryana. Randeep attended Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Haryana for his early education before transferring to Delhi Public School in R. K. Puram, New Delhi, in the midst of his junior year. He attended Delhi University to complete his degree. Later, in Melbourne, Australia, he pursued a Master’s degree in Business Management and Human Resource Development.

Career of Randeep Hooda

Filmography

Randeep made his acting debut with the 2001 Hindi film “Monsoon Wedding,” in which he played Rahul Chadha.
It took him nearly four years to receive a second film offer, and he appeared in the Hindi film “D” in 2005.
Later, he appeared in a few unsuccessful Hindi movies like “Darna Zaroori Hai” (2006), “Risk” (2007), “Ru Ba Ru” (2008), and “Karma Aur Holi” (2009).

He first gained fame for his performance as ACP Agnel Wilson in the 2010 Hindi film “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.”
Randeep subsequently made appearances in well-known Hindi movies such as “Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster” (2011), “Jannat 2” (2012), “Highway” (2014), “Kick” (2014), and “Main Aur Charles” (2015).

He made his Hollywood debut in 2020 with the film “Extraction,” which starred Chris Hemsworth. Randeep portrayed Saju Rav in the movie.
He revealed on March 28, 2022, that he would portray Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, an Indian freedom warrior, in the Hindi movie “Swatantra Veer Savarkar.”

He founded a Polo team called “Royal Rooster” in 2014. Randeep is the only actor in India as of 2022 who competes in equestrian sports like polo and show jumping.
