Early life, family and education of Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte was born on 7 September 1985. Her birthplace is Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. She also joined Tilak Nagar High School, Dombivli, Maharashtra. Afterward, she was home-schooled with four of her friends. Moreover, during her schooling period, mathematics was her favorite subject. Also, her grandmother, Madhumalati Apte, a mathematician and a Ph.D. from France, used to teach Radhika. She also received training in Kathak for eight years. Then, she completed her Bachelor’s in Economics and Mathematics from Fergusson College, Pune.

Radhika also belongs to a Marathi Hindu FamilyHer father’s name is Charudutt Apte, a neurosurgeon and also the chairman of Sahyadri Hospital, Pune. Also, her mother is a doctor. She has a brother named Ketan Apte.

Afterward, she started participating in Marathi theatre plays when she was only 18. Then, in 2003, she did her first play titled “Nako Re Baba.”Radhika also did several plays in Hindi and English languages like Purnaviram, Tu, Kanyadaan, Matra Ratra, Brain Surgeon, That Time, and Bombay Black. She was also associated with Mohit Takalkar’s theatre group, “Aasakta Kalamanch.” To get a Diploma in Dance Studies, she also went to Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London.

Career

Radhika Apte made her acting debut with the role of Anjali in the Bollywood film “Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!” in 2015. Then, she appeared in films like “I Am” and “Shor in the City.” These movies were also from Balaji Film Production.
