Mai-A Mother’s Rage or simply known as Mai is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language family thriller drama series. It is streaming on Netflix. This series is created by Atul Mongia. It is directed by Anshai Lal and produced by Anushka Sharma with her elder brother Karnesh Sharma. The series features Sakshi Tanwar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Prashant Narayanan, Raima Sen, Anant Vidhat Sharma and Vaibhav Raj Gupta in lead roles.

Storyline of Mai-A Mother’s rage

It follows a story of a grieving mother who lost her daughter in a tragic death. She transforms from kind person to merciless to know the real cause behind death.

Sheel Chaudhary, a middle-class mother and a nurse working at Geeta Bhawan witnesses the death of her daughter, Supriya, by a speeding truck. After the funeral, she came to know the fact that her daughter’s death was not an accident, but a case of pre-planned murder. The tragedy pushes the her to uncover the truth about the death of her daughter.

Mai- A Mother’s Rage is a series by Clean Slate Films.The series was earlier announced by Netflix India to release on September 2021 but was delayed due to some issues. The series premiered on 15 April 2022 on Netflix.
