Recently, in 2022, she came to limelight after portraying the role of Shesh Naagin in Colors TV’s supernatural franchise Naagin 6 alongside Tejasswi Prakash and Simba Nagpal.

Mahek was born in 1 February 1979 in Oslo, Norway. She is 43 years old (as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Aquarius. She completed her primary schooling from Norwegian Medium School, Norway. After that, she took admission in a college to complete her graduation degree.

Mahek was born in a middle-class Sikh family. Her parents name is not known yet. She has one elder sister named Melvina Kaur Chahal and a brother named Vikramjit Chahal.

Biography

Career

After completing her studies, she came to India to pursue her career in acting. She started her career as an actress in Telugu industry. She made her debut as an actress in 2002 in the Telugu film Neetho. In this film, she played the lead role of Shalini. But, the film was not commercially successful at the box-office. After that, she did several short films like Jindey (2000), Dil Te Maar Gayi, etc.

Mahek made her Bollywood debut in with the comedy film Nayee Padosan in 2003. In this film, she played the character of Pooja Iyengar. As a model, she has walked the ramp for numerous fashion designers and has been featured in the cover page of many popular magazines. Later in 2011, she came to the popular Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 5 as a contestant. She became the first runner-up. After that, she participated in the comedy reality show Kahani Comedy Circus Ki in 2011.

Mahek also participated in several other reality shows like Bigg Boss Halla Bol, Killerr Karaoke Atka Toh Latkah, and Power Couple along with her boyfriend, Ashmit Patel. She also appeared on the comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao.

Mahek has participated in a popular Indian stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Recently, in 2022, she came to limelight after portraying the role of Shesh Naagin in Colors TV’s supernatural franchise Naagin 6 alongside Tejasswi Prakash and Simba Nagpal.
