Manoj Bohra is his real name, but he changed it to Karanvir Bohra in 2007. Karanvir has a background in the film industry. He is the grandson of actor-producer Ramkumar Bohra and the son of director Mahendra Bohra.

On November 3, 2006, Bohra married model-VJ Teejay Sidhu at the Sri Sri Ravishankar Ashram in Bengaluru.

Bohra changed his name from Manoj to Karanvir in 2007. Bohra and his wife had resided in Lokhandwala in Andheri, Mumbai, before relocating to Goregaon in the Mumbai Suburban region in 2014.

Career of Karanvir Bohra

Bohra’s first acting part was in Tejaa as a young artist (1990). Just Mohabbat, directed by DJ’s Creative Unit, featured him in the lead role. Later, he worked as an assistant to B. P. Singh on the criminologist project C.I.D. and later for Achanak 37 Saal Baad. Bohra also appeared in the films Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2007) and Kkusum (2008). He first appeared on the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay in 2003. Bohra made an appearance in Aziz Mirza’s film Kismat Konnection in 2009, playing the pampered rascal and businessperson Dev Kataria.

Karanvir returned to television in 2011 with Dil Se Di Dua… Bhava Saubhagyavati? He portrayed Viraj Dobriyal. The show ended on January 18, 2013.
Bohra joined Zee TV’s Qubool Hai inverse Surbhi Jyoti in April 2014. He portrayed Aahil Raza Ibrahim. In March 2015, he announced his departure from the show. Later, Bohra left the show in July 2015. In January 2016, the show Qubool Hai came to an end.

Bohra joined the cast of Naagin 2 in October 2016 as Rocky Mahendra Pratap Singh, opposite Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan. He also contributed to the short film Ijjazat. Bigg Boss 12, featured Bohra as a celebrity participant in 2018.

In July 2019, Bohra participated in the romantic thriller Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna with Priya Banerjee and Samir Kochhar.
Bohra revealed in January 2020 that he will make his digital debut in Zee5’s thriller web series The Casino. Later that year, he starred in Bhanwar, another Zee5 web series.
He appeared in the reality show Lock Upp in 2022.
