Kalyani was born on April 5, 1992, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her parents are famous filmmaker Priyadarshan and former actress Lissy. She has a younger brother named Siddharth. Kalyani’s family is well-known in the film industry, and she grew up surrounded by movies and actors.

Kalyani completed her schooling in Chennai, after which she went to Parsons School of Design in New York City to pursue a degree in fashion communication. She worked as an assistant costume designer for some Hollywood movies during her time in New York.

Career
