Early life, family, and education of Jugaadu Kamlesh

Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare was born in 1996. His birthplace is Devarpade, Malegaon, Maharashtra. Kamlesh did his schooling at NS Deshmukh Vidyla Chikhal O- Malegaon, Maharashtra. Afterwards, Kamlesh dropped out of BCA in 2nd year from Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad College, Malegaon, Maharashtra. He was interested in inventing things for helping farmers since his childhood. Moreover, his father is a farmer but his name is not known and his elder brother, Nilesh Ghumare, is serving in the Indian Army.


Jugaadu Kamlesh never wanted to work for someone else. This was the reason of his entrepreneurial journey started. Kamlesh has always been keen on finding some jugaad for the problems faced by farmers. Initially, when Ghumare saw his father and several other farmers like him struggling with the pesticide tank and the impact it was having on their health, he came up with a jugaad and invented a pesticide cart in 2014.
Kamlesh also made several changes to the product till now before presenting it to the judges of Shark Tank India. Recently, Jugaadu has posted a video of him with the pesticide cart on YouTube which has gone viral. Many news organisations have also featured him for his invention.

In the end of the year 2022, he appeared in Shark Tank India 2 and received more fame. Moreover, Kamlesh was awarded at Zee Hindustan’s RISE – Startup To Unicorn. When he went to the show, he was very confident and presented his product with the motivation to seek help for farmers. However, he was rejected by the other Sharks. But Peyush Bansal saw potential within him and offered him Rs 10,00,000 for 40% equity from Shark Peyush Bansal and a flexible no-interest loan of Rs 20,00,000.

Where is he now?

After that, he has had several conversations with Peyush Bansal regarding the product and future of his company K.G. AgrotechAlso, he recently met Peyush Bansal at his home in Delhi. They are currently working on the design of the pesticide cart. They have also hired a designer from NID who has experience with designing wheelchairs.

Sources says, he will be launching several other products that will be helpful for the farmers, till the design of the pesticide cart is finalised. These products are in line with his USP of jugaad and the prototype of the pesticide cart will be released in the next three months and the production will start soon after.

  • People are talking about how he got famous overnight and how his luck is favouring him. However, Kamlesh did a Josh Talk in which he explained how hard he worked for 10 years to exhibit himself now.
  • Peyush Bansal is helping him in all way possible.
  • Initially, Kamlesh wanted to join the Indian Army, he attempted the entrance exams several times. But after two of his foot fingers had a fracture, he quit preparing for it and was bedridden for a few months after the fracture.
  • Then, Kamlesh went to Mumbai to try his luck in acting. His friends helped him in staying there and giving auditions. However, he was rejected in the audition round for his looks and language. Kamlesh then decided to quit acting and returned to his hometown.
  • Kamlesh then tried for a job, and a man in his village assured him of a government job on paying Rs. 1 lakh and submitting a few original documents. At first, Ghumare agreed to it, but later, the man turned out to be a fraud.
