Ishita Kishore is a 2022 UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) first-place finisher and a Delhi University alumna. Her father is an Air Force officer. The 26-year-old woman passed the outstanding test on her third attempt. On both of her initial tries, she failed the entrance exam.

There are now 613 males and 320 women among the 933 qualified 2022 civil services test applicants. The top 25 candidates include 14 women. Each year, the UPSC conducts the preliminary, main, and interview phases of the civil services examination to choose candidates for the IAS, IPS, and IFS.
Early Life and Education
Ishita Kishore was born in the Year 1996. Ishita is 27 years old (as of 2023). She was born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh. She acquired a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable college shortly after completing the fundamental course. Shri Ram College of Commerce is renowned for giving young brains an excellent education. After March 2019, she pursued a steady job and studied for the IAS Exam.

While she was in high school and college, she took part in a variety of extracurricular activities. She presided over Interact, a Rotary-sponsored organization, and participated in fictional UN conferences at school functions. She was involved in the Literary Society and Economic Society while in university. Ishita also operated as an intern with the charitable community CRY.
Ishita’s Strategy to crack UPSC
Ishita Kishore stated that she used to study for at least eight to nine hours daily to prepare for the exam. According to her comments to the news outlet PTI, getting the highest score on the civil services test was like a “dream come true” for her. She also remarked that as an IAS officer, she would work to further women’s liberation.
