Ishaan Khatter is a young and gifted actor in Bollywood. He is very close with Shahid Kapoor, the actor who he is the half-brother of.

On November 1st, 1995 in Mumbai, Ishaan Khatter was born to actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem. He developed an interest in performing because he was born into an acting family. At Mumbai’s Billabong High International School, he finished his education. Later, he enrolled in the graduate programme at RIMS International School and Junior College in Mumbai. He has lived with his mother since his parents separated in 2001.

Ishaan Khatter is single and rumoured to have been dating actress Ayesha Kapur from the Black movie. Additionally, there have been rumours regarding his relationship with Jhanvi Kapur, his Dhadak co-star and the late Sri Devi’s daughter. He dated actress Ananya Pandey from 2019 to 2022. Their three-year relationship ended in April 2022.

Career

Ishaan Khatter was raised in an acting-related family. As a result, he also grew interested in acting and chose to make acting his career. He debuted as a young artist in 2005’s “Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!” with his brother. He finished his education at Mumbai’s Billabong High International School. Ishaan enrolled in Shiamak Davar’s dance programme to improve his dancing.
Ishaan worked as the assistant director on several movies while he was still in college, including “Udta Punjab” (2016). He appeared in “Udta Punjab” as well.

He made his acting debut in the lead role of Majid Majidi’s 2017 film Beyond the Clouds, which had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival. Both the film and his performance received favourable reviews. In the middle or end of 2018, “Beyond the Clouds” will be released in Indian theatres. He is currently hard at work on his film “Dhadak,” which stars Jhanvi Kapoor. The film is a translation of the popular Marathi film Sairat.

In the upcoming film Pippa (2022), he will appear as Captain Balram Singh Mehta. He will also appear in the movie Phone Bhoot, which is going to release on 4 November 2022.
