Early Life

Ethan Klein was born on June 24, 1985 in Ventura, California, US. He attended Buena High School. He studied English Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Klein is Jewish. He had a generalized anxiety disorder throughout his college years. Due to this, he took a trip to Israel as a part of the Birthright program, a free ten days trip to Israel for people of Jewish heritage. It was during the trip to Israel he met his wife, Hila, who was serving as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces. They got married in 2012.

Career

After moving to California, the couple started a YouTube channel named H3H3 Productions on 29 April 2011. Six years later, they started another YouTube channel, H3 Podcast on 8th April 2017. Both channels are very popular and have 5.97 million followers and 2.93 followers, respectively.

The primary format of the videos uploaded by the H3H3 Productions channel involves Ethan’s critique and commentary reaction videos, with clips of source videos intermixed with his commentaries. Their channel criticizes internet trends and a number of other online personalities.

H3 Podcast was first launched on Twitter by Ethan and Hila. It is a comedy podcast with one of the highest-ranking podcasts in the United States.
