Divyanka Tripathi was born on 14 December 1984 in Bhopal. She did her primary schooling at Carmel Convent School, Bhopal. Then, she got admitted to Sarojini Naidu Girls College, Bhopal, to complete her graduation. She also learned mountaineering from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. Tripathi has also won a gold medal in rifle shooting. Since childhood, she was inclined towards acting and started taking part in dramas, plays, and telefilms in her hometown. She has worked as an All India Radio (AIR) host during her school days. In 2003, she was titled “Miss Bhopal”.

Divyanka was born in a middle class Hindu family. She is the daughter of Narendra Tripathi, a pharmacist. Her mother’s name is Neelam Tripathi. She has an elder sister, Priyanka Tiwari, and a younger brother, Aishwarya Tripathi, who is a pilot.

She was in a relationship for 9 years with Sharad Malhotr. They were co-actors in the serial “Banoo main teri dulhan”. The couple parted their ways in 2013 due to marriage commitments. Then in 2016, she got married to Vivek Dahiya in a private ceremony in Bhopal.

Divyanka Tripathi started her career at very young age as an anchor on All India Radio, Bhopal. She has also won the title of Miss Beautiful skin in 2003 by participating in Pantone Zee Teen Queen and after participated in India’s best cinestars ki khoj in 2004 and became top 8 from Bhopal zone . In 2005 she was crowned as Miss Bhopal.

Divyanka made her acting debut on Doordarshan channel. She soon started getting offers for big roles. Later she got selected for the serial Banoo Main Teri Dulhann”. This was a breakthrough for her. She played the role of Vidya, an orphan and illiterate girl in this serial.

Next, she played a role in Star Plus’s horror show Sssshhh…Phir Koi Hai. Thereafter, she was seen as Rashmi Sharma in the comedy-drama, Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale. Divyanka has been playing the role of “Ishita Bhalla” in the serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein since 2013. She became very popular after this serial.

She has also participated in reality Nach Baliye 8 with her husband. The couple won the trophy and a cash prize of 35 lakh. Her debut movie was “Lala Hardaul” in the year 2012.

Recently, she was featured in a music album, “Babul Da Vehda”. This song is sung by Asees Kaur. The song became a huge hit with more than 8 million views on YouTube.

Divyanka has also been featured in many films and web series. in 2019, she was seen in the web series Cold Lassi aur Chicken Masala inn the role of Chef. In 2014, she was seen in the film A Divorce to Remember. In this, she played the role of Zara. Currently, she is filming for her movie Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai.
