The Despicable Franchise

Despicable Me of 2010, the $3.7-billion franchise has grown to become one of the highest-grossing of all time. After which sequels started to emerge. Sequels and even spin-off prequels are consistently pumped out in two to three-year intervals. In between the movies of this franchise, themed books, video games, and short films have also been released. Moreover, in September 2017, Illumination’s CEO Chris Meledandri said that a fourth Despicable Me film is in development. Later, on February 18, 2022, a release date was confirmed by the Despicable Me team for July 3, 2024.
