Ashlesha started her career as a model. After completing her schooling, she got into local modelling for about a year. She started training for the Gladrags contest. At that time, Balaji’s auditions were taking place in Pune. She went to give the auditions and just took a shot. But, fortunately, they shortlisted her for Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat. After that, she moved to Mumbai. The shoot did not happen due to some reasons and she played a small role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Rishab Bajaj’s associate.

Then, she was informed that she was going to get featured in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus) and Kammal (Zee TV). She accepted both offers. Ashlesha has also played the role of Rohit Sharma’s wife in Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand. After that, she was featured in the serial, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
