Later, he moved to Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Hyderabad for higher studies. He completed his B. Tech. in Electronics and Instrumentation at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.

His father’s name is Durishetty Manohar and he is an additional assistant engineer in Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Ltd.. His mother’s name is Jyothi and she is a homemaker.

Career of Anudeep Durishetty

When he was studying at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, he got interest in Civil Services. He started preparing for UPSC. In his first attempt, he qualified for the Preliminary and Mains exam but did not qualified the Interview round. Later, he joined Google India as a Software Engineer in Hyderabad. He also continued his UPSC studies side-by-side. He mainly used to study on his weekends. It was not easy for him to continue his preparation with a full time job.

In the fifth attempt, he became the topper of UPSC 2017. He didn’t joined an institute for coaching. He did self studies via Google and YouTube. Anudeep was working as an Assistant Commissioner (P) at Indian Revenue Services, Government of India. He was posted at Hyderabad as an Assistant Commissioner

Anudeep got 1126 marks out of a maximum of 2025 (55.60 percent ). Anudeep scored 950 out of 1750 marks in the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam (written). He also scored 176 points out of a maximum of 275 in the UPSC Interview (Personality Test).
