Ankit started his career in the year 2013 as an actor. He made his acting debut in 2012 with the Colors TV series Balika Vadhu. In this, he played the role of Dr. Abhishek Kumar. In the same year, he made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi film Tutiya Dil. He portrayed the role of Nalender Yadav.

Ankit became popular among people after playing Parth Kashyap in Channel V India’s show Sadda Haq. He was also seen in the serial, Begusarai. Ankit played the male lead role of Fateh Singh Virk, in Colors TV’s popular drama Udaariyaan from 2021 to 2022.
