Ankit started his career in India Television Industry with the show Mahi Way as Nikhil in 2009. After that he works in many TV serials like Mann Kee Awaj Pratigya as Adarsh Shyam Saxena. He was starred in Zee TV show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke as Mayank Prabhu Garg. In 2015 he appeared as Bhasma asur in the serial Maharakshak: Devi on Zee Tv.

Ankit got his first lead role in 2012 in Zee TV’s soap opera Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke opposite Roopal Tyagi . He played the role of Mayank Garg. For his amazing performance in this serial, he received several nominations. After the show ended in 2015, he participated in Killer Karaoke Atka Toh Latkah. In the same year, he appeared as Bhasmasur in the serial Maharakshak: Devi on Zee TV.

In 2015, he participated as a celebrity contestant in the 9th season of popular Indian reality game show Bigg Boss. But unfortunately he was evicted on Day 7. After that, he was seen as Atish in an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Ankit made a guest appearance in the mythological drama Santoshi Maa with his girlfriend, Sara Khan.

In 2021, Ankit played the role of Sameer Shastri in the Colors TV serial ‘Choti Sardaarni’. After that, he was also featured in the serial Mollki. He played the role of Singh Shekhawat in it.
