Aditi Saigal was born on September 21, 1998, in Mumbai, India to Amit Saigal and Shena Gamat, she comes from a family deeply rooted in the arts. Her father, Amit Saigal, was a well renowned rock musician and was the founder of India’s inaugural rock magazine, “Rock Street Journal.” Tragically, he met his demise in 2012 by drowning in the waters off Goa. Aditi’s mother, Shena Gamat, is a Theatre practitioner, actress, and accomplished voice artist, amassing over 15 years of stage experience. Shena has also taken on supporting roles in Bollywood productions such as “Band Baaja Baaraat” and “Dev D.” Aditi’s parents divorced amicably in 2006.

At the age of 14, Aditi faced the loss of her father, resulting in her custody being placed in the care of her grandparents in Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh.

Aditi harbored a profound passion for singing and songwriting from an early age, penning her first composition at the tender age of 12.

Following her completion of secondary education in India, she pursued higher studies in music and creative writing at Bangor University in North Wales, United Kingdom.
